About

Dear parents and students,

Welcome to PrepMaze!

My name is Eitan, and I created PrepMaze to help you understand the tests you may face and give you practical, reliable tools to support your preparation. PrepMaze currently focuses on school assessments and cognitive ability tests, with a future vision to grow into a broader learning hub for children and adults across areas such as mathematics, scientific thinking, and more.

One of the ideas behind PrepMaze is that good test preparation does not have to mean months of studying, endless practice, or exhaustion. I believe in focused preparation: helping students learn what they need to know, become familiar with the test, practise the relevant skills, and arrive on test day feeling more comfortable.

I also believe that high-quality test preparation should be accessible. That is why you’ll find a wealth of free resources and information here to help you understand the challenges your upcoming test may present. For those who need deeper, more structured preparation, PrepMaze also offers carefully developed preparation packs at affordable prices, with test simulations, quizzes, and thorough yet friendly explanations designed to guide the student step by step.

Another principle that is very important to me is human connection. In a world where it is increasingly easy to generate large amounts of content automatically, PrepMaze takes a somewhat different approach. Every practice question and learning material published here is created and reviewed by real people – tutors, educators, and instructional professionals – and I personally create and review many of the materials myself. In some cases, we do use AI to improve our practice materials, but even then, a human always checks and verifies their accuracy, clarity, and educational value.

The same applies when you contact PrepMaze. If you send a question, concern, or ask for guidance, I personally read and reply to every message. You will not receive an answer from an AI chatbot. I take every query seriously and do my best to provide a thoughtful and helpful response.

A little bit about myself: I hold a B.A. in Psychology and an M.A. in City Planning. Since 2012, I have worked directly with students as a tutor, preparing them for knowledge-based tests and teaching subjects including mathematics, English, history, civics, and science. Over the years, I have worked with gifted children, students with learning difficulties, students applying to international schools, and college applicants from around the world.

Since 2015, I have been working in the test-preparation industry. My work has included developing preparation materials, creating educational content, and managing teams of teachers, tutors, and instructional developers. This has given me experience not only in teaching individual students, but also in understanding how high-quality preparation programmes are designed, developed, reviewed, and improved.

In addition, my professional background includes academic research on career decision-making and ways to help people make better occupational choices, as well as experience working as an environmental planner and consultant.

Years of working closely with students have taught me about the difficulties they face when preparing for important tests. I have seen how confusing preparation can sometimes feel, and how much pressure and uncertainty a test can create for both students and their parents.

That understanding, together with my years of experience in teaching, test preparation, educational content development, and team management, is what ultimately led me to found PrepMaze. My purpose is to make your test-preparation process clearer, calmer, more focused, and genuinely human.

If you have any questions or need guidance, I’d love to hear from you:
